Rachel Inabata is one of our TMS Technicians at Psychiatry Northwest. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Rachel moved to Seattle to attend college at Seattle University where she recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During her time at Seattle University, she was interning at the University of Washington Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress as a research assistant where she assisted in the development of a study design and protocol and facilitated study visits.
The non-invasive aspect and the treatment of patients with depression is what caught her interest in TMS. Rachel enjoys the interaction with patients and the opportunity to see them improve. She is excited to see the development of TMS treatments for many more diagnoses.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends, hiking, and facetiming her family back home. In the future, she plans to pursue a doctorate degree in clinical psychology.
